Description

This beautiful dollhouse is a great way to spend time with your daughter and will be a family heirloom for generations to come.

This cozy Tudor cottage reflects the designers' research into authentic English architecture. With its picket fence and half-timbered exterior, the house is a visual delight. It has silk-screened windows to simulate leaded glass, and a flower box too. Interior features are equally charming. There are four spacious rooms, beamed ceilings, built-in bookcases, two window seats, and two fireplaces. A winding staircase completes the mood of this wonderful English Tudor.

The all-wood dollhouse goes together with tab and slot construction that requires only glue to complete assembly. Shingles are not included. Finish and furnish this heirloom-to-be to meet your heart's desire. It's not painted inside or out, letting you express your own personal decorating tastes.

A lot of fun to build.

I seem unable to build a kit without doing something "special' with it, but I built this one as it came (and then turned it into a pub!). I was able to build most of it "on the road" in a 27' travel trailer. It is one of the more challenging kits I've built, but a lot of fun. I tried a variety of finishing treatments that turned out very well. Well worth taking the extra time to get an heirloom-quality dollhouse.

    A handsome house.

This was my first project. I didn't go to sleep until it was assembled. Some people have labeled it challenging, perhaps it has some complexities, but it's not insurmountable. It's the most handsome house of the line, in my eyes--a quaint, lovely cottage with two fireplaces and four spacious rooms to play with. The room for interpretation is unlimited; and it's still so much my favourite, I keep a spare kit on hand. The Glencroft, and the Beacon Hill are probably the best houses in the Greenleaf line--best in design and appearance
