The Garfield Dollhouse
The Garfield house is the largest and surely one of the most impressive dollhouses anywhere.
Nathaniel Hawthorne hadn't seen it when he wrote his classic House of the Seven Gables, but indeed our mansion has seven peaks, a wrap-around porch, two balconies, and two bay windows. you'll wish you were building a full scale version. The ten large rooms are accessed easily with a corner opening, removable roof section, and a lift-off turret atop the secret tower chamber. Topped off with lovely gingerbread trim, this house is truly a gift from the heart.
The all-wood dollhouse goes together with tab and slot construction that requires only glue to complete assembly. Finish and furnish this heirloom-to-be to meet your heart's desire. It is unpainted inside and out, letting you express your own personal decorating tastes.
At this price, you don't have to feel guilty about a little splurge.

I have just completed building the Garfield and was totally satisfied with the kit. It is a very large project and this was my first attempt at building one. I must say the directions are very clear and if you follow them you too can end up with a truly beautiful dollhouse. I love mine!
I am finishing my Garfield, and am quite satisfied with the results. The instructions are quite clear, and when I did get confused, a call to Greenleaf or a visit to the forums set me straight. The dollhouse is very large, though! Make sure you measure carefully to be sure you have space for it.
This is one of my favorite houses! I call it the Yellow Rose Inn and made it a bed and breakfast. Be careful...it's a BIG house. The directions correctly instruct you to measure the doorway of the room you are building it in to be sure you can move it out!
I bought my Garfield in 1992, its gone through total rebuilding 3 times. The most beautiful Dollshouse of all. It has new doors, new windows, lights. The staircase goes right through to the top.
