HOUSE. AT THE PRESENT TIME I AM WORKING ON ROOF SHINGLES. I COULDN'T BELEIVE HOW MANY SHINGLES I WAS GOING TO HAVE AFTER THEY WERE SEPARATED. I HAVE

I JUST COMPLETED THE PROCESS. BEFORE YOU TAKE THE DOUBLE ROW OF SHINGLES APART,WHILE THEY ARE
STILL IN THE FULL SHEET.GLUE A 3/4"
STRIP OF PAPER ON THE BACK SIDE AT
THE LINE WHERE THE SHINGLES WILL
BE SEPARATED. LAY THE SHEET ASIDE
TO DRY. AFTER THERY ARE DRY BREAK
THE SHINGLES APART IN DOUBLE STRIPS. I THEN TOOK A PAIR OF SISSORS AND CUT ON THE LINE AT THE
TOP END OF THE SHINGLES.NOT THE FISH SCALE END. THIS GIVES YOU TWO
STRIPS OF SHINGLES. EACH HELD TOGETHER WITH A STRIP OF PAPER. WHICH YOU WILL NEVER SEE BECAUSE
IT IS ON THE BACKSIDE. THIS GIVE YOU A STRIP OF APPROXIMATELY 10
SHINGLES. READY TO APPLY WITH GLUE. WORKS WELL. JIM @OHIO
